During FY 2018-19, we achieved a turnover of ₹12000 crore - a significant increase over the previous year. All our divisions have contributed towards strong growth both in India and globally. More importantly, we continue to be inspired by our bold vision: to be a key contributor
towards India’s energy security and beyond while dominating the global solar energy sector.
Clean energy is the energy of the future. At S&W, we have taken long strides in this arena as we intend to not merely catch up with change but to lead it. As per a leading
global
market research survey (IHS Markit), we have been ranked the World’s Largest Solar EPC provider. Our exceptional growth is mirrored in our prestigious clean energy projects including the world’s largest single location solar PV Plant in Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest planned
solar
installation in Egypt, and the largest PV plant in North Africa. At the same time we remain committed to playing a central role in India’s ambitious renewable energy expansion programme. These firm steps, we are confident, will help us achieve our revenue target of ₹20,000 core
by the
year 2020.
We also envisage steady demand for hybrid plants and energy storage as green power becomes the global norm. We have already initiated strategic measures to grow our Hybrid and Energy Storage business, bagging our first Hybrid Energy Storage project in West
Africa
this year. Our infrastructure business of Data Center and MEP are on a robust growth trajectory, driven by the growing demand of digitisation of sectors. The Bhamashah Data Centre project, which we have undertaken for the Government of Rajasthan, is a Tier-IV Data Centre and
one-of-its-kind in India. Last but not the least, with our turnkey solutions in the domains of Transmission & Distribution, Cogeneration, and Diesel Generators, we have firmly established ourselves as a global diversified conglomerate.
Entering into joint ventures with
local companies and engaging local talent has long been our global growth mantra. This strategy of going local will help us to strengthen our base while acquiring companies globally. Currently, our operations are based across 30 countries and we are passionate about extending our
presence in new geographies.
Over the course of our long and proud history, we have dared to dream big. Backed by our industry-leading team and the support of all our stakeholders while always being guided by our corporate values, we have delivered on those dreams for
more
than nine decades. As we chart our strategic roadmap, we are excited about the potential of our business and remain confident in its future. The best is yet to come.
Thank you for your trust and support.
